Middlebury World Languages
K12 is proud to partner with the Middlebury Interactive Languages program—a leader in world language instruction for K–12 students. Middlebury Interactive has taken Middlebury College's renowned approach to world language training, developed and refined over the past 100 years, and translated it to the digital and K–12 setting.
Middlebury’s curriculum is engaging and interactive. It immerses students in a language—giving them the opportunity to speak, read, write, and listen to world languages in real-life situations. Students use powerful tools such as music, videos, and animation that creatively augment their learning experience.
Cultural and co-curricular opportunities such as instructional games, clubs, and activities give students a wide variety of ways to further immerse themselves in a language. Students will be learning from highly-qualified native or near-native speakers who can help students gain a deeper understanding of different cultures.
Middlebury Interactive offers options from Competency to Fluency, to AP world language courses—allowing students to take the courses that match their interest and capability in languages such as Spanish, French, German, and Japanese.
This highly effective program will help your student truly excel and put them on the path to mastering a world language.
